Miss McGonegle was my 2nd grade teacher at Longfellow School. I remember her wonderful smile and how we teased her about being about the same size of some of the boys because she was so short. My memory is that she always had great control of her students. She also would encourage us often especially with our reading. She was a kind soul, She is missed by many. Good memories.
