Dear Oberman family: I am sorry to hear of Mr. Oberman's passing. As a boy, I spent a lot of time over at the Oberman house with Russ. I have many fond memories of Mr. Oberman kidding around with us and shooting baskets with Russ and I and the many other neighborhood kids. If he ever got annyoyed that I was over there all the time, he sure didn't show it. He gave me more than a few rides home after games and had encouraging and interesting things to say. I remember him always being thoughtful and soft spoken. You all have my sympathy and the sympathy of the entire Stierman family. Sincerely, Matt Stierman
