Reke was one of a kind, mainly a wonderful friend to Blaine and me. We just love him and Betty, friends we have known for years through camping. After we moved to Tennessee ten years ago, we made many trips back to Clinton, and Reke and Betty would always tell us our "bed is waiting", such a comfort to weary travelers. We are so sad we cannot be there to tell Reke goodbye. But we were packed to leave when the weather forecast there made it impossible.
