Condolence From: Blaine and Rema Hedgecoth
Condolence: Reke was one of a kind, mainly a wonderful friend to Blaine and me. We just love him and Betty, friends we have known for years through camping. After we moved to Tennessee ten years ago, we made many trips back to Clinton, and Reke and Betty would always tell us our "bed is waiting", such a comfort to weary travelers. We are so sad we cannot be there to tell Reke goodbye. But we were packed to leave when the weather forecast there made it impossible. We will always keep you in our hearts, Reke, and we hope to see you in the spring, sweet Betty. Love, Rema and Blaine

Condolence From: Betty Higbee
Condolence: We all knew that Reke wouldn't be with us for much longer but that does not ease the pain you are going through. He will be with his brothers and sisters now and may he rest in peace. It's so sad to see almost a whole generation gone. Dick and I spent a New Years Eve with Reke and Betty in Ft. Myers. We went to a comedy club, but while waiting for the comedian to come on, Reke entertained us all with one joke after another. He had a good sense of humor and I will miss him dearly. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: We were surprised and saddened to hear of his passing. He was quite a talker and an interesting person when he came into the office to see us. I'm sure he will be missed by everyone that knew him. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
