William 'Billy' Stage, Jr., 57, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on September 23, 2014. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive - west side of Clinton Lawn Cemetery). A visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Erie Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Billy was born October 29, 1956 in Clinton, Iowa the son of William Sr. and Mary (Dake) Stage.
He worked many years for Midway Quarry in Illinois.
Billy enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Billy is survived by one daughter - Billie Jo (Nathan) Elders of Dixon, Il.; two sons- David Stage of Clinton, IA., William "Al" (Stephanie) Edwards of Marion, IA.; one granddaughter and two grandsons; one sister - Brenda (Silas) Mack-Brister of Michigan; three brothers - Frank Stage of Clinton, IA., Merle Stage of IL., Mark (Carol) Stage of Clinton, IA., with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding Billy in death were his parents.
