Condolence: Heaven has gained a beautiful angel and we know the Lord only accepts the best. That is what Mary Anne was, one of the best and most beautiful souls! As far back as my memories go I remember Mary Anne. She was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Growing up, it was always a joy to visit and spend time with her, her sister Linda, and the rest of their family. Genuinely nice people. The picture of Mary Anne you chose to display here is perfect. That sweet smile with that little sideways glance is so her. Chris, Erin, Shannon, Nathan, Linda, and David I am so sorry for your loss. She fought so hard and was so brave through all of this and she is such an inspiration and I consider myself so lucky to have known her. I could list a thousand memories I have of her but the one thing that stands out was simply her laugh and her sense of humor. She was so much fun. You are loved and missed Mary Anne but I also know you are safe, pain free, and in the arms of the Lord. I love you bunches.

Condolence: Linda and Dave I would like to tell you how sorry I'am for the passing of Mary Anne. She was one funny lady and her laugh just craked me up and she always had that look in her eyes, that you didn't really know what she was thinking. After she got married and had a family and moved from Maquoketa I didn't see her much but I will always remember her and what we called the pink apartments that we lived in. And to Chris and their childern I to would like to tell you how sorry I'am for the loss of your wife and the mother of your childern.

Condolence: Mary Anne and I lived in the same apartment building in Maquoketa. We would watch out for each other when it came to boy friends. She would sit on my front porch and wait for me to get home, and I would drive by her apartment to make sure everything was ok. Oh my were those the good old days. One thing about Mary Anne that I will never forget will be that laugh that she had!!! Mary Anne tell your mom and dad that I said hello.

Condolence: Chris, Linda, and Family,
I want you to know how sorry I am to read this in this morning's paper. Mary Anne was truly a unique person. She could always make me laugh, and I don't just mean a small laugh. I remember the time she drove the "Green Vomit" into the telephone pole watching Dennis Drews in his parents' yard. I treasure the last time I came to CR to visit Mary Anne and Linda. You two sisters had more than a sisterly bond. I loved listening and watching you two interact. I shall see you soon, Linda.
Love, Sally
