Vicky Jean Dithmart, 73, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, Iowa on Tuesday August 15th, 2017. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a graveside service taking place at 10:00 a.m. this Sunday, August, 20 at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Vicky was born July 30, 1944, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Edward George and Hazel Ellen (Pelton) Walker.
The outdoors was Vicky's favorite place to be, whether she was camping, fishing, mowing grass, or shoveling snow. The things she loved most were thrift store shopping, getting the latest electronic gadgets, going to the Casino and playing slot machines and her kitty Shadow.
Married for 54 years, Vicky and Bob raised their two daughters. Vicky was a stay at home mom who did so much for everyone- family and friends.
Going back to school and earning her GED was something Vicky was very proud of.
Vicky is survived by her sister Joyce (Earl) Quick; daughters Susan (Doug) Larson and Sheila (Justin) Lee; four grandchildren Andrew Larson, Heather Carrier, Tabitha Larson, and Dawson Lee and one great-grandchild Landon Gatson. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.
