Mrs. Venice I. (Jeske) Relien, 90, of Little Chute, formerly of Greenville, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 29, 2012.

She was born April 25, 1922, in Symco, to the late William and Ida Jeske. Venice graduated from Little Wolf High School in Manawa in 1940, and then worked as a housekeeper and was employed by Aid Association for Lutherans until her marriage. She married William Relien on June 19, 1943, and the couple owned and operated a dairy farm in the Greenville area. Her husband preceded her in death in 1993.

Venice was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenville. She served her Lord faithfully for many years teaching Sunday School, serving as church Secretary, and was a member of the church choir, Ladies Aid and Altar Guild until recent years. She was also a member of the Little Chute Homemakers Club. She always had a song in her heart, and could often be found singing or humming a tune.

Venice is survived by her daughters, Yvonne (Elmer) Schuette, Glencoe, MN; Sheri Fuerst, Neenah; Donna (William) Gengler, Hilbert; and Dawn (Don) Coors, Little Chute; a sister, Beatrice Laruwe, Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law, Joyce Jeske, Manawa; nine grandchildren, Doreen (Jason) Bonk, Darin (Becky) Schuette, Brenda (Mark) Alberts, Jodi (Chris) Gennrich, Kim (Don) Lederhaus, Jeff (Kim) Gengler, Cami (Tracy) Hanold, Wendy (Andy) Raschka, and Ryan Gengler; 17 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Emily, Kyle, Kate, Elizabeth, Saylor, Kelsi, Alicia, Alexa, Aidon, Amber, Jacob, Micayla, Dalton, Kiley, Natalie and Rachel; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William; brother, Gifford Jeske; son-in-law, Gary Fuerst and brother-in-law, Art Laruwe.

A Service of Christian Burial will be held in Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, W7265 School Road, Greenville at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Service at the Church. The Reverend David Scharf will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church and Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
