Trent Corbit Kofahl, 41, of Clinton, Iowa past away at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics on Saturday, June 18, 2016. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded . A Memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). A celebration of his life will occur from noon until time of service, on Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Trent was born April 8, 1975 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Les and Nannette (Frahm) Kofahl. He was a 1993 graduate of Clinton High School. Trent was united in marriage to Madonna Widener on November 23, 1994 in Clinton, Iowa.
Trent worked at Nestle' Purina (formerly Ralston) for over 20 years. He was a member of the Freemason Emulation Lodge no. 255.
Trent loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He loved all sports and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He also loved following his favorite NFL team the Miami Dolphins. He loved his children and family very much. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
Trent is survived by his wife Madonna Kofahl of Clinton, IA; two daughters - Brianna Kofahl of Clinton, IA and Taylor Kofahl at home; one son - Gabriel Kofahl at home; one grand-daughter Adilynn (Kufahl) Pinkston at home; his mother Nannette Kofahl of Clinton, IA; one sister - Theresa Schwarz of Clinton, IA; two brothers - Scott Frahm of Ingleside, TX, T.J. Kofahl of Mesa, AZ; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends he met throughout his life.
Preceding Trent in death were his father - Les and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
