Obituary for Theodasia "Teddy" Jetter

Theodasia "Teddy" Jetter, 75, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at Mercy Living Center South facility on September 2nd, 2013. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7th, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clinton, Iowa. A visitation will occur 2 hours prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7th, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will take place following the funeral service at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Teddy was born January 1st, 1938 in Winchester, Kentucky the daughter of Reverend Robert and Josephine (Dunlap) Green. She attended Oliver High School, in Winchester.
She worked at the Martin Morris clothing store in Clinton and later at the Clinton Garment Factory where she retired after 20 + years.
Teddy was a devout member of the Second Baptist Church in Clinton, Iowa. She loved going to Church. She also enjoyed shopping and loved tending to her flowers. Above all she loved her family and especially loved her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by many.
Teddy is survived by her daughter - Denise (Frederick) Williams of Clinton, IA.; one son - Dawin Jetter of Fayette, IA., two grandchildren - Frederick and Favin at home; two sisters - Johnnie Mae Julian of Kentucky, Mildred Green of Virginia; three brothers - Charles (Gloria) Green of Rockford, IL., Nathaniel Green of Clinton, IA. and Paul Green of Clinton, IA.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, four brothers and a great nephew - Winfred "Winnie" Joseph Davis.
