Terry D. Tyler, 67, of Pender, Nebraska passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday August 24th. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 29th, at 1:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Camanche. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 28th, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Lemke Funeral Homes-South Chapel. Burial will take place on Tuesday, August 30th, at the Allison cemetery, Allison, Iowa. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
Terry was born March 16th, 1944 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Mary (Platt) Tyler. Terry married Linda McCready in Camanche, Iowa on August 26th, 1974.
Terry was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the VFW. Terry owned and operated Huckleberry's Rock and Gift shop in Okoboji, Iowa for a number of years.
Terry is survived by his wife Linda of Pender, NE, 1 son- Jake (Lora) of Minneapolis, MN, his Mother- Mary Tyler of Camanche, 2 sisters- Lani Willis of Muscatine, IA, Barbara Volk of Peoria, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his father – Raymond Tyler.
