Terry Lee Bader, 58, of Camanche, Iowa passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center - North. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). Honoring his final wish, cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral service with burial at Clinton Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Terry was born March 21, 1956 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Marvin and Shirley (Kohrt) Bader. Terry was a 1974 graduate of Clinton High School and would later go on to receive an AA degree from Clinton Community College. Terry was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, the Sons of Amvets and the Clinton Community College Alumni Board.
Terry worked in the shipping/receiving department for Barrows Enterprises for 17 years, however he enjoyed his last job the most working for the Clinton and Camanche School Systems as a bus driver and grounds keeper which provided him the opportunity to interact with the school kids which he greatly enjoyed.
Terry loved to socialize with his friends. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiling. One of his favorite pastimes was playing billiards or cards with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
Survivors include his mother - Shirley Bader of Camanche, IA.; two uncles - Delbert (Nobuko) Kohrt of Fairfield, CA., Darrell (Gail) Kohrt of Council Bluffs, IA.; with numerous cousins and friends.
Preceding Terry in death was his father - Marvin Bader, his grandparents - Bill and Annie Kohrt, one uncle - Emil Kohrt and one cousin Rhonda Kohrt.
Memorials made will be directed to the wishes of the family.
