Tamiko "Tammy" Jane Melchionne, 55, of Clinton died Saturday, January 3, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
A Memorial service is planned for 2:00p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015, at the Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Dr. Clinton.
Visitation will be 1 hour before the memorial service starting at 1:00p.m.at the funeral home.
Tammy was born October 7, 1959 in Japan to Elizabeth 'Betty' (Dudley) Chadbourne.
Tammy had many health issues which began in her childhood. When she was very young, Colette Guy and her family took care of Tammy like she was one of their own 14 kids. They became her devoted, lifelong family who lovingly took care of her up until the very end.
Tammy loved and was loved by SO many people: All of Colette's Family, Grand Kids and Friends, 'Cuz' (Laquita) and others from New Choices who took care of her, her Sisters: Deb and Gerry, LOTS of Friends in Clinton, Iowa, Chicago, Florida, Massachusetts and North Carolina. And last, but not least, her dog 'Dayshar' and kitten 'Booty'.
Tammy loved having fun, talking on the phone, watching Soaps, CSI and Law and Order, listening to Rap, Tupac and Snoop Dog, shopping, going for rides, eating food she wasn't supposed to eat, and - especially - getting into lots of trouble.
Tammy is survived by Colette Guy and her Family, her Sisters: Deb Newman of Florida, Gerry Fitzpatrick of Maine, Brenda Donovan of Maine.
Memorials can be made to the wishes of Colette Guy and her Family.
