Susan Lynn Hansen, 57, of Oquawka, Illinois passed away at home on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a Celebration of Life taking place from 2 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, September 22, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.

Susan was born January 7, 1961 in Oregon, Illinois, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Morrow) Johnson. Susan worked as a Housekeeper and Caregiver at Sunny Brooke Retirement Home in Burlington, Iowa.
She enjoyed reading, thrift shopping and loved spending time with her family. She also loved animals, especially her fur babies – her two cats. Above all, she loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.

Susan is survived her beloved companion Bill Waddell of Oquawka, Il; one daughter - Angela Hansen of Clinton, IA; one son – Andrew Hansen of Clinton, IA; 2 sisters – Deb (David) Zigler of Morrison, IL and Robin Scrivner of Clinton, IA; 5 brothers – John (Brenda) Johnson of Polo, IL, Steve (Denise) Johnson of Clinton, IA, Dale Johnson of Wapello, IA, Ron (Lori) Johnson of Camanche, IA and Wayne (Betty) Johnson of Clinton, IA; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceding Susan in death were her parents and 3 daughters - Stacey, Maria and Amanda.
