Obituary for Suellen Rose Voss (Bunce)
Suellen Rose Voss, 71, of Clinton Iowa, passed away at MercyOne Medical Center on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with private family services occurring at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Suellen was born March 12, 1949 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Owen and Sigrid (Tiedje) Bunce. She was a 1967 graduate of DeWitt High School.
Suellen was united in marriage to Harold Voss on March 14, 1970 in DeWitt, Iowa - they would later divorce.
She was a homemaker who loved her family dearly.
Suellen loved working on crafts – crochet, diamond art and cross stitch her favorites. She also loved animals, especially her dogs that she raised as puppies – taking care of dogs was a true passion of hers. Above all, she loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.
Suellen is survived by her daughters - Rhonda (William) Frost of Camanche, Katina Voss of Clinton; five grandchildren - Amanda, Cassandra and Joseph Frost and Jazmyn and Samantha Voss; several brothers and sisters; special friend Cloyd Watson and many other friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters and first husband Harold Voss.
