Shirley Ann Clark, 74, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at Eagle Point Health Care Center on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. A Funeral Service will take place at 3 pm on Saturday, September 8, at the First Baptist Church. A visitation will occur 1 hour prior to the Funeral Service from 2 pm until the time of service at the Church. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.

Shirley was born June 26, 1944 in Rock Island, Illinois the daughter of Clarence and Madeline (Daxon) Lockwood.

She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton. She loved her Church family and loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Early in her career, Shirley was very proud of working as a Dietary Technician for the Clinton Community School System, she would later retire as a Dietary Technician and Cook at Mercy Hospital – South Campus.
Shirley loved to teach Arts & Crafts to children at the YMCA and Church Camp, while her 4 children were young. Following retirement, Shirley carried on her love for crafts and sewing. She loved quilting blankets for her family and those facing a Cancer diagnosis. She loved her family very much and will be sadly missed.

Shirley is survived by 1 daughter – Melissa Clark of Clinton, IA; 3 sons – Gary W. Doran Jr. of Clinton, IA, Don (Jenny) Clark of Surprise, AZ, William (Kim) Clark of Clinton, IA; 1 step-daughter – Vickie Clark of Clinton, IA; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren; 3 sisters and 1 brother; with several cousins and many friends.

Preceding Shirley in death were her parents; 2 sisters and grandson - Tyler Steeg.
