Obituary for Shirley Busch (Hofer)
Shirley Alice Busch, 78, of Low Moor, Iowa passed away at Manor Care in Davenport on November 9, 2021. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with no services scheduled. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Shirley was born January 6, 1943 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Otis and Alice (Neilsen) Hofer. She grew up on her family’s farm in Low Moor and graduated from Dewitt High School, class of 1961. Shirley was united in marriage to Wayne Busch, however they would later divorce.
Shirley enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. She loved traveling and during a portion of her life, she lived close to the ocean, which she loved.
Shirley is survived by her son - Tony (Dorota) Busch of Aurora, Illinois; two brothers – Terry Hofer of Low Moor, and Ronny (Alice) Hofer of Camanche.
Proceeding her in death are her parents and one son, David.
