Sheryl Lee Edleman, 67, of Goose Lake, Iowa passed away at the Alverno Health Care Facility on Monday, January 16, 2023. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with no services scheduled. Her final resting place will be Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Sheryl was born March 19, 1955 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Lester and Shirley (Vorbeck) Edleman. She was a graduate of Northeast High School. She held many jobs throughout her life but enjoyed delivering newspapers for the Clinton Herald for many years.

She was a past member of the Ascension Lutheran Church in Goose Lake, Iowa.

Sheryl loved all animals and enjoyed feeding and watching the local wildlife surrounding her home. However, your true love of animals was centered on her horses. Whether it was competing at horse events, in which she won many awards and trophies, or simply taking trail rides anywhere. Sheryl had a kind soul and a heart of gold that will be missed by many.

Sheryl is survived by several cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents.

Memorials can be directed to the Elvira, Iowa or Preston, Iowa Food Pantries in Sheryl’s name.
