Infant Scarlett O. Sapp, five days old, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals, surrounded by angels and into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday May 22, 2015.
A funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Infant Scarlett was born May 17, 2015 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Brianna Byers and Dedric Sapp of Clinton, Iowa.
Infant Scarlett is survived by her mother and father; maternal grandparent - Brenda Byers of Charlotte, IA.; maternal great grandparents - Lloyd Jr. (Paulette) Hamilton of Savanna, IL.; paternal grandparents Joy (Sam) Ruthart of Clinton, IA.; paternal great grandparents - Cynthia (McDaniel Knox) Perkins of Clinton, IA.with many other brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceding infant Scarlett in death were her maternal grandparents - Lloyd Sr. and Mae Hamilton and paternal great grandfather - Robert Fields.
