Saverio Chuck Sirna was born July 24, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He passed away July 25, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of 83.
Saverio is survived by his sons, Charles "Chuck" Sirna and Mark Sirna; daughter, Christine Sirna; sister, Edith Greenfield; brother, Michael Sirna; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Terry.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines, Iowa. Additionally, a visitation will also be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 with funeral services to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Drive in Clinton, Iowa. Pallbearers will be - Chuck Sirna, Mark Sirna, Dennis Sirna, Peter Sirna, Terry Sirna Jr. and Donivan Sirna.
Mr. Sirna will be laid to rest at Genesee Grove Central Cemetery.
