Obituary for Ronald Paul Maydew
Ronald Paul Maydew, 79, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at the VA Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa on September 21, 2020. Honoring his wishes cremation rites have been accorded, with no services scheduled. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Ron was born on February 26, 1941 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Dale and Laura (Oakley) Maydew. Following high school, he was employed with Sethness Products, working in the maintenance department, where he retired after 30+ years. He was united in marriage to Karen Sweesy in 1978. Ronald was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Ron is survived by his wife of 42 years, Karen Maydew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
