Ronald “Ron” Dean Heppner, 59, of Beebe, Arkansas passed away at home on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Cremation rites have been accorded with a Memorial service taking place at 12 pm at the Clinton Church of Christ Christian church on Saturday, November 16. A visitation will occur 1-hour prior from 11 am until the service hour at the church. Private burial takes place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Ron was born January 30, 1960 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Douglas and LaRonna (Christofferson) Heppner. He was a 1978 graduate of Clinton High School. Ron was united in marriage to Jaxi Bastin on March 12, 1999 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Since 1995, he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad.

Ron enjoyed boating and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He was a very good-hearted person, always willing to help someone out and also had a huge heart for animals. Above all, he loved his family very much and will be greatly missed.

Ron is survived by his wife Jaxie of Beebe, AK; parents – Doug and LaRonna Heppner of Clinton, two brothers – Doug (Kerry) Heppner of Clinton and Mark (Jody) Heppner of Erie, IL; 2 step-daughters – Kelly and Amy; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceding Ron in death were his step son – Arron Dunning and his sister – Linda Heppner-Reeves
