Robert “Bobby” Allen Tracy, 66, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at the Hawkeye Care Center, Asbury, Iowa on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. A visitation occurs from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday, December 18, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Dr.). A celebration of his life continues at Legend’s Sport Bar immediately following the visitation. Private burial takes place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Bobby was born March 15, 1954, in Maquoketa, Iowa the son of Robert I. and Mary Ann (Wood) Tracy. He was a graduate of Clinton High School.
Bobby was united in marriage to Linda (Schaeffer) on February 6, 1971 in Clinton, Iowa.
Bobby was an Iron Worker and was employed for many years at J.E. Merit Construction working at the ADM Clinton Plant.
Bobby loved riding horses and was a member of the Clinton Horsemen’s Association. He also loved riding his Harley and was a member of ABATE. He greatly enjoyed working in his yard and was very meticulous about keeping his yard immaculate at all times. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, taking them for ice cream or just hanging out with them. He loved his 9 grandchildren very much and will be incredibly missed.
Bobby is survived by his daughters - Tabetha (Todd) Clark of Clinton, Terri (Jason) Clark of Clinton, Tiffany (Andy) Stevens of Wilton, IA, Amber (Prince) Bordolo of Davenport, IA and Kassyde Tracy of Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife – Linda, one grandson, one sister and one brother.
