Robert F. Maass, 86, of Clinton, passed away on September 21, 2011 at the Eagle Point Nursing and Rehab Center, Clinton, Iowa. A graveside service will take place on Monday, September 26th at Oakland Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
Robert was born on December 4th, 1923 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Henry Jr. and Minnie (Glimieski) Maass.
Robert was a U.S. Army veteran and worked at Collis and DuPont's as an Electrician.
Robert enjoyed photography, and loved the outdoors – fishing, camping and hiking.
Robert is survived by 1 niece – Tangee Maass of Utah, 2 nephews – Ed (Donna) Maass of Utah, Phillip (Marta) Rico of California, 1 great niece and 3 great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 niece.
