Obituary for Robert "Bob" Fradette II

Robert "Bob" Fradette II, 38, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at home on Sunday, July 3, 2016. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 11, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive Clinton, Iowa). A visitation will occur three hours prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche, Iowa. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Bob was born November 30, 1977 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Robert and Marilyn (Barnhart) Fradette. Following his graduation from Flint High School, he joined the U.S. Army. After basic training, he was stationed at Fort Campbell, in Kentucky, and following the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center, he was deployed to Afghanistan. During his time in the Army he accumulated many commendations and achievement medals. After being honorably discharged, serving from 1996 to 2002, and leaving the service as an Afghanistan war veteran, the effects of the war would not leave him as he suffered from PTSD.

Bob was united in marriage to Krista DiBartolo on June 1, 2002 in Clarksville, Tennessee. He worked in the IT department at Clinton National Bank. He was a Scottish Rite 32 degree Freemason and a member of Masonic Lodge #60 in Camanche.
Bob loved his job at Clinton National Bank because it involved his favorite hobby, spending time on the computer. He also enjoyed cooking and grilling out. He was a dedicated follower of Stars Wars and the associated movies. He loved his children very much and enjoyed spending time with them, as well as spending time with his four dogs. He would help anyone in need and could share a wonderful sense of humor - he will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all those who knew him.
Bob is survived by his wife of 14 years Krista of Clinton, IA; two children Katrina and Dominic at home; his mother in-law Lana Davis of Clinton, IA; Papa Roger Burk of Clinton, IA; one aunt - Bonnie Mcewen of Alpena, MI; two sister in-laws - Lisa and Sandy, other extended family members, his combat brothers - Tim and Greg Samartino and Josh Caputo and other military family, as well as, the many friends he met throughout his life.
Preceding Bob in death were his father and one uncle.
