Obituary for Richard A. Lee

Richard Allen Lee, 79, from Clinton, passed away from the temporal and was entrusted into the hands of our living God, Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on August 31, 2011.
Richard was born to Cecil and Claribel (maiden: Tompkins) Lee on September 19, 1931 in Clinton, Iowa. He graduated from Clinton High School, honorably served in the U.S. Army for six years, and retired from International Harvester (Case IH).
Richard married Shizue Ishizaka in 1954 with whom he happily and lovingly spent his life at his home in Iowa until it was necessary for his family to care for him in Jacksonville, Florida where he resided his remaining few years. Richard will be remembered for his greatness of love for his loved ones both family and friends. He is preceded by his parents, his brother Robert, his sister LaVonne, and step-father Merritt Dann, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife and five children Linda, Bobby (Denise), Debbie, Patty and Ronnie; three grandchildren Ian (Trina), Seamus and Tennyson; and one great grandchild due to be born very soon. He is also survived by his three beloved brothers Jim and Tom Lee, and Merritt Dann.
A memorial service for Richard will be held for family and friends at 11:00am, October 8, 2011, at the Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Dr.
