Obituary for Richard Albert Johnson
Richard Albert Johnson, 69, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at the Alverno on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Funeral services take place at 12:00 pm on Monday, December 20, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel. Burial immediately follows at Springdale Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Richard was born December 11, 1952 in Gary, Indiana. Richard was united in marriage to Patsy Cummings - together for 49 years.
Early on, Richard worked at the Clinton Herald and later worked in the maintenance department at the Casino.
He enjoyed watching all sports and spending time with his family in Gary, Indiana.
Richard is survived by his wife Patsy of Clinton, one step-son – Kris Cummings of Signal Hill, CA; one sister and 2 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one step-daughter.
