Richard LeRoy Hudson, 83, of Clinton, Iowa went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 17, 2021. Cremation rites will be accorded with private family services taking place. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Richard was born March 15, 1937 in Lancaster, Wisconsin the son of George and Lucille (Cress) Hudson. Following High School, he served his country in the United States Navy.

Richard was united in marriage to Carol Neuberger in April of 1961 at St. Mary’s Church – they were lovingly together for 57 years until Carol’s passing in 2018.

Richard was a Hair Stylist for 37 years, working alongside his wife Carol, at the “Hudson Isle of Style” in Clinton.

Richard enjoyed the many trips and cruises taken with his wife and enjoyed creating things with his artistic ability. He also enjoyed and was proficient at growing Tomatoes.

Richard is survived by his only daughter - Michell (Bryan) Harvilla of Clinton, IA; one granddaughter – Skylar (Ethan) Roling of Davenport, IA; one grandson – Spencer Harvilla of Iowa City, IA; two brothers – Robert (Gloria) Hudson and Mike (Lois) Hudson both of WI; with special friend Twila Bethel and many other friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Carol and brother – David Hudson.
