Randy “Sugar” Len Chase, 58, of Camanche, Iowa passed away at Genesis Medical Center, Davenport, on Thursday, April 28, 2022. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a funeral service taking place at 4 pm on Saturday, May 7, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Dr.). A visitation occurs two hours prior from 2 pm until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial takes place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Randy was born February 3, 1964 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Leonard Jr. and Sharon (McClelland) Chase. He was a graduate of Clinton High School and acquired an Associate’s Degree from Clinton Community College.

Randy worked at IPSCO Steel, Inc., as a heavy equipment operator, for 20+ years.

Randy enjoyed golfing with friends, he also loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He was an exceptional pool player and shot pool for the Silver Dollar in several leagues. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. Above all, he loved his friends and family very much and will be incredibly missed.

Randy is survived by his two sisters - Madonna (Gary) Chase-Ryan and Laura Chase both of Camanche, Iowa; one brother - Robert (Jody) Chase of Davenport; one niece - Geneva and two nephews - Ronald and Brandon; three great nieces - Arabella, Jessica and Paizley; one great nephew – Dakota; with several cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother – Johnny Lee.
