Obituary for Randall "Randy" Moberg
Randall Bruce Moberg (Randy) 77, of Albany, passed away surrounded by all his girls on October 19, 2021. Honoring his wishes, Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with cremation rites.
Randy was born May 5, 1944, in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Stanley and Norma (Mitchell) Moberg. He went to school in Hammond Indiana. He married Sandy Lou Housenga on August 2, 1974.
Randy held several jobs throughout the years, working for the Canteen vending machine company for 20 years and Coca Cola for 3 years in the Rockford and Quad Cities areas. He later moved to Phoenix, Arizona opening his own vending machine company called BT vending.
Randy enjoyed many leisure activities. His most favorite was spending time with his family. He loved going to Las Vegas, going to the movie theater with anyone who would join him, and playing Cribbage. He most recently enjoyed making unique picture and clock frames. His love of gumballs will be something that will never be forgotten, and a birthday wasn’t the same without Randy singing ‘Happy Birthday.’ Memories of his many different voices, such as ‘The Rubber Duckie’ song will always make us laugh.

His daughter Lori (Brian Holcomb) Swift; granddaughter Amanda (Bob) Brechon, great- grandson Markus Brechon and great-granddaughter Jordan Brechon; His grandson Trevor (Cortney) Swift, and great- grandsons Logan, Aiden, and Carson Swift; granddaughter Kristen (Nick) Stoddard, great-granddaughter Lillian and great-grandson Jameson.
His daughter Peggy (Rick) Seeling; grandson Ryan (Michelle) Seeling and soon to be baby girl; grandson Chad (Erin Jarvis) Seeling.
His son Brian (Annetta) Ammon; grandson Zachary; granddaughter Tatianna; great-granddaughter Zoey.
His daughter Teresa Moberg; granddaughter Brenda (Jason) Martin; great-grandson’s Hunter, Parker, Andrew and Jackson. Granddaughter Margie Sparrowgrove, great-granddaughters Aiyanna, Janessa, and Jayla.
Granddaughter Sara (Vince Holst) Sparrowgrove; great-grandkids Layla, Landon, Kruz and Kynleigh.
His daughter Brenda Lange; granddaughter Niki (Brent) Mendoza; great-grandkids Trey Stoddard, Faith, Braydon, Merida, and Christian Mendoza.
His son Steve Langy; granddaughter Sarah (Grant) McDonald; great-grandson Miles.
Proceeding Randy in death were his parents, Stanley and Norma Moberg; mother- and father-in law, Garrett and Bessie Housenga; many aunts and uncles; his cousin Jackie; son-in-law Troy Lange; and granddaughter Tammy Lange; and his best friend Cecil Maybee.
