Obituary for Patricia Trimble

Patricia “Pat” Mary Trimble age 73 of Clinton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Eagle Point Health Care Center. A Funeral Mass will take place at 11am on March 15 at Jesus Christ Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A visitation will occur 2 hours prior, from 9 am to 11 am at the church with burial immediately following the services at St Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Wilkerson Jr., Jim Trimble, Lt. Col Edward Trimble, Bob Trimble, Ray Trimble and Anthony Trimble. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Pat was born in Clinton on June 18, 1949, the first born daughter of Robert and Mary Bertine (Ryan) Trimble.

Pat graduated high school from Mount Saint Clare Academy in 1968. She attended St. Anthony’s School of Nursing in Rockford, Illinois, as well as, Clinton Community College and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Mary Crest College.

Pat was self-employed as a Home Health Aide, taking care of children ages two through eight at the YWCA. She loved being with family and friends and delighted in bringing people treats. Her life centered around God and celebrating mass and the sacraments daily. She prayed for everybody. She Knew Jesus and that he was her savior.

Pat had a jolly and spirited personality and was eager to share her resources with any one in need – their needs always came before her own.

Pat is survived by her long-time best friend, Joe O'Donnell. Together they shared many happy memories.

She is also loving remembered by her siblings; Kathy (Dave) Lawrence of North Carolina, Jim (Sally) Trimble of Iowa, Lt. Col Ed Trimble, US Air Force (retired), Priscilla Babler of Tennessee, Bob (Lisa) Trimble of Arizona, Ray Trimble (Carol Martin) of Arizona, and Jane (John) Wilkinson Jr. of Maryland. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her Parents, Robert and Mary Bertine Trimble, Grandparents, brother Rick Trimble, brother-in-law Mark Babler, sister-in-law Bobbye Trimble.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to the Prince of Peace School in Clinton.
