Patricia "Pat" Joy Carroll Mitchell, 74, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday September 12th. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday September 15th at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
Pat was born on October 9th, 1936 in Lyndon, Illinois, the daughter of Floyd and Virgina (Miller) Johnson. Pat was a 1954 graduate of Lyndon High School.
She married James Carroll Sr. on September 1st, 1956 in Prophetstown, Illinois.
Pat loved to sew fabrics and give her finished creations to her family. She loved spending time with her family, grand children, great grand children and friends.
Pat is survived by: 3 daughters – Debra Carroll of Dallas, Texas, Sandra (Duane Jr.) Kyarsgaard of Sabula, Iowa, Mary (David) Zmuda of Clinton, 3 sons- James (Linda) Carroll Jr. of Savanna, Illinois, Jeff (Donna) Carroll of Oxford Junction, Iowa, David (Lucy) Carroll of Oak Harbor, Washington and many grand children and great grand children
She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, 1 sister, 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson.
