Obituary for Patricia Diane "Pat" Andresen
Patricia “Pat” Diane Andresen, 85, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away at home on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a private celebration of her life taking place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Patricia was born January 11, 1938 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of William and Betty (Beane) Andresen. She was a graduate of Clinton High School, class of 1956.
She was an Executive Assistant at Clinton Foods, and later the Executive Assistant at Chemplex. Patricia was a past member of St. Mary’s and Prince of Peace Catholic Church
Patricia was an active sports enthusiast, she loved playing the game of tennis, and enjoyed bowling participating in league Bowling for Clinton Foods and Chemplex. She also enjoyed playing golf. When she wasn’t playing sports, she was watching it as an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. She dearly loved her fur-babies – her many Pekingese dogs she had throughout her life. She enjoyed time tending to her flower garden. Patricia treasured the time spent playing cards once a month with her former school friends. Above all, she loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.
Patricia is survived by her three siblings – Ronald Andresen of Clinton, John Andresen of Clinton, and Cynthia (Johnny) Rinderknecht of Homer, Alaska; 13 nieces and nephews; 11 great-nieces and nephews; with several cousins and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sister-in-laws.
