Nova Geraldine (Pruett) Wilson, 81, of Camanche, Iowa passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Prairie Hills Assisted Living in Clinton. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday May 19, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive Clinton, Iowa). A visitation will occur two hours prior to the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ron Wilson, Sean Wilson, Doug Knight, Gary Luckritz and Jesse Hammond. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Nova was born November 22, 1934 in Ironside, Missouri, the daughter of Ronie and Lovie (Williams) Pruett. She married John F. Wilson on June 4, 1955 at the Baptist Church in Lyons, Iowa.
Nova is survived by one sister - Dorothy Holm of Camanche, IA; two daughters - Connie (Ken) Hemingway of Colorado Springs, CO and Shirley (Gary) Wilson of Morrison, IL; one son - Ron (Bobbi Jo) Wilson of Camanche, IA; with thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Preceding Nova in death were her parents, her husband John and a daughter - Virginia.
