Nery Margarita Jimenez, 87, of Clinton Iowa passed away at home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Cremation rites were accorded with a funeral service taking place at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 11, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel. A visitation will occur one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Nery was born February 22, 1931 in Las Villas, Cuba, the daughter of Basilio and Rosa (Hernandez) Delgado. She married Gerardo Jimenez on August 12, 1950 in Las Villas, Cuba.
Nery is survived by 1 daughter – Regina Jimenez of Clinton, IA; 3 grandsons – Carlos (Alicia) Lloret of Clinton, IA, Christopher Lloret of Clinton, IA and Andrew of Clinton, IA; 3 great-grandchildren – Logan, Isadora and Sean; 1 sister – Isolina of Cuba; 2 nieces – Yaquelin Novoa of Tampa, FL and Nancy Jimenez of Louisville, KY and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
