Nannette Marie Hinrichsen, 63, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at home on Sunday, June 4, 2017. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of her family and friends, celebrating her life, will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Nannette was born March 6, 1954 in Corona, California, the daughter of James and Nannie (Deal) Bovis. She was a graduate of Clinton High School – class of 73'. Following High School, she acquired an Associate's Degree from Clinton Community College.
Nannette was united in marriage to Jon Emil Hinrichsen on June 24, 1989 in Clinton, Iowa.
Nannette worked in the Dietary Department, at the Alverno, for many years.
Nannette enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved the outdoors especially spending time in her garden, as well as, camping and traveling. She cherished the time spent with her family – she loved them all very much and will be greatly missed.
Nannette is survived by her husband – Jon of Clinton, IA; her mother in-law - Jean Bisson of Clinton, IA; two daughters – Nina (David) Barker of Leaf River, IL and Meghan (Eric) Faires of Bettendorf, IA; three grandchildren – Levi, Eli and Olive at home; two brothers – Harry (Sandra) Bovis and Randy (Denise) Gildea; sister in-laws – Donna (Steve) Niles and Linda (DuWayne) Wessels; brother in-laws – Tom (Nancy) Hinrichsen, Karl (Maureen) Hinrichsen, Kurt Hinrichsen and Klaus (Jane) Hinrichsen with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Nannette in death were her parents, one son – Chad and her father in-law.
