Obituary for Nancy Mae Holesinger (Keller)

Nancy Mae Holesinger,79, of Camanche, Iowa passed away at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport, on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with private family services and burial occurring at a later day. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Nancy was born January 16, 1944 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Harold and Virginia (Vervais) Keller.

Nancy was very proud to acquire her GED in 1990. Following that, she acquired a Dietician Certificate.

Nancy was united in marriage to Dale Holesinger, at the “Little Brown Church” in Nashua, Iowa, on April 6, 1985. Dale recently passed on July 18th of this year.

Nancy retired from International Paper after 25+ years of service.

Nancy enjoyed watching and tending to the many tropical fish she and her husband raised. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing and tending to her flower garden. Nancy also loved watching birds, especially the hummingbirds that frequented her feeders. She loved to socialize with friends and family over the phone. Above all, she loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her children - Tammy (Ygnacio) Guzman of Monon, IN, Tina Gilmore of Clinton, IA, Tracy (Roy) Webster of Preston, IA, John Lynch of Savanah, GA; Lisa (Tommy) Rhodes of ID; Dale "JR" (Rose) Holesinger, Jr. of IN; Angie (Joseph) Smith of TX; Leslee Holesinger of Davenport, IA; with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters - Marlo Fulsang, Jackie (Tuff) Eversoll, Susie (Ron) Kowzic and Margie Widener; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Dale, son William "Billy" Lynch, Jr.; one great-granddaughter - Maranda Kaye Lewis; two sisters - Shirley Duran and Jenny Johnson and one brother Harold Keller, Jr.
