Nancy Kay Frondle, 73, of Camanche, Iowa passed away on Friday, December 21st, 2012 at her home in Camanche. Cremation rights have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28th, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (west side of Clinton Lawn Cemetery). Visitation will take place 2 hours prior to the memorial service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28th, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel. Burial will take place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Nancy was born on March 9th, 1939 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of LeRoy and Grace (Kramer) Knight. She was a 1957 graduate of Clinton High School.
She married Arthur Frondle on May 8th, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois.
She was a member of the Clinton Church of Christ.
Nancy was a caregiver for the elderly.
Nancy loved the outdoors, especially camping, she was a member of the Green Forest Campers. She loved reading and enjoyed playing cards, games and visiting the Casino. Above all she loved her family and will be deeply missed.
She was survived by two daughters - Grace (Dale) Rowson of Clinton, IA., Julie (Matt) Philibert o Twins Falls, ID.; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters - Shirley (Donald) Thornton of Valparaiso, IN., Patricia (Larry) Smith of Wichita, KS.; one sister-in-law - Mary Frondle of Sabula, IA.; five step sisters - Marjorie (Steve) Pete of Clinton, IA., Carol Struve of Camanche, IA., Judy (Lauren) Hyde of Clinton, IA., Barbara (Bruce) Havens of Clinton, IA., Beth (Ron) Krogman of Clinton, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Art and special friend Maxine Holstein.
Memorials can be left to Mercy Hospice or the Clinton Church of Christ.
