Michelle Ann Sanders, 32, of Clinton, Iowa passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service taking place at 1 pm on Sunday, December 19, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel. A visitation occurs two-hours prior, from 11 am until the service hour at the funeral home. Spreading of the ashes takes place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Michelle was born November 27, 1989 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Sarah Ann Sanders and Gordon Holden, Sr. At the age of 3 Sarah Ann wanted a better life for her children so the family moved to Clinton. Michelle would then be educated in the Clinton School System.

Michelle enjoyed listening to music, watching scary movies, wearing her jewelry and hanging out with family and friends. It was so easy to be Michelle’s friend, she had a wonderful trait of being a great listener and would never interrupt you, she was soft spoken and just a very genuine soul. She liked to have fun and made many life-long friends in Clinton. She truly was one of God’s kind and gentle spirits and will be deeply missed.

Michelle is survived by her mother - Sarah Ann Sanders; her father - Gordon Holden Sr; sister - Marquetta Sanders and step sisters Katrina Jackon and Angel Johnson; brother Gordon Holden Jr.; son - Seth Andresen; uncles Mark A. Sanders and Johnatan Sanders; aunts - Joal Sanders and, Jennifer Mosley; maternal grandfather - William Paul Sanders Sr. and paternal grandfather - Robert Holden; with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother - Joann Sanders; paternal grandmother - Mary Holden and uncle - William Paul Sanders Jr.
