Obituary for Michael John White, Sr.
Michael J. White, Sr., 68 of Clinton, Iowa passed away at MercyOne Medical Center on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with a celebration of his life taking place from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday, May 19th, 2023 at “The Warehouse” located at 110 North Second Street, Clinton. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Michael was born June 29, 1954 in Bowman, North Dakota the son of Wayne and Donna (Kosmicki) White. He graduated from Burlington High School – Burlington, Colorado. He furthered his education by acquiring at 2-year A. A. S. degree in Drafting.
Michael was united in marriage to Vicki Cronk on April 28, 1995.
Michael worked as a Construction Superintendent for Alert Construction, retiring after 35+ years. Much of his time was spent at the Clinton ADM Plant.
Michael enjoyed Saturday night Bowling League with his wife. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. From time-to-time he enjoyed playing games of chance at the Casino. He loved all the pets he had throughout his life. Above all, he loved his family very much especially his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his wife Vicki of Clinton; his children - Michael Jr. (Jennifer) White of Center Point, IA; Lance (Rebecca) White of Atkins, IA; Stan Konopka of Clinton; Stephanie (Jackson) Howell of Lowden, IA and Todd Hasenmiller of Fort Worth, TX; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his mother – Donna White of Burlington, CO; one brother - Terry White of Burlington, CO and three sisters - Kathy Diamond of WA, Robin White of Burleson, TX and Christine (Steve) Kramer of Burlington, CO with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father – Wayne and sister – Mary Kay
