Obituary for Michael Kranovich

Michael Roger Kranovich of Coralville, Iowa, formerly of Chicago, passed away in Davenport on November 7, 2015. Graveside services for the family were held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Michael was born November 18, 1947 in Clinton, Iowa, a beloved son of Louis and Mildred Kranovich. He graduated from Clinton High School and attended the University of Iowa. He served in the U.S. Army, including two tours in Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Army Commendation Medal. He was an accomplished artist and received numerous awards for his paintings. He worked many years as a master picture framer and consultant for an art gallery in Chicago. One of his paintings was displayed in Washington D.C. as part of the Vietnam Veterans of America Exhibit.
He is survived by his brother Richard (Floriana) and two sisters - Patricia and Becky. He is also survived by nephews - Stefano (Becky), Jay(Michelle), James( Joan), and niece Melissa and many great nephews, a great niece, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He will be greatly missed.
