Obituary for Mary Ann Hart (Johnson)
Mary Ann Hart, 80, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Honoring her wishes, services and burial at Clinton Lawn Cemetery will be private. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Mary was born January 3, 1942 in Fulton, Kentucky, the daughter of Winfred and Lucy (Conner) Johnson. She was united in marriage to Thomas Hart on December 17, 1961 in Hickman, Kentucky – Thomas passed away on January 8, 2016.
Mary was a long-time member of the Great True Love Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton.
She worked at GE for 13+ years and concluded her career at ADM.
Mary enjoyed socializing with friends and family. She also loved cooking. Above all, Mary loved her family very much and will be sadly missed.
Mary is survived by two sons Kevin (Amanda) Hart of Clinton and David Hart of Davenport; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister -Juanita Kerney of Clinton with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons - Tom and Ricky and one daughter – Penny and two brothers Billie and Herbert.
