Obituary for Mary Ellen McClain (McClelland)
Mary Ellen McClain, 81, of Camanche, Iowa, passed away at the Alverno in Clinton, Iowa, on Sunday, April 23, 2023. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with no services scheduled. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Mary was born July 14, 1941 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Edna (Iverson) McClelland. She was a graduate of Clinton High School.
She was a machine operator at Case IH for many years.
She loved the outdoors especially camping, socializing and playing bingo. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews.
Mary is survived by one brother - Arthur (Tina) McClelland of Clinton; one sister - Betty Mohr of York Town, Arizona; Special Niece - Madonna Chase of Clinton; with several other nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sharon, and two brothers, Robert and Ronald.
