Marjorie M. Guilliams, 83, of Safford, Arizona, formerly of Clinton, Iowa passed away June 11, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Bobbie Guilliams, Marjorie was born on July 9, 1930 to Mr. and Mrs. William Harris, and was raised in Decatur, Iowa. Bobbie and Marjorie were married August 17, 1949. They had seven children, Boneta-Bonnie (Ron) Boden of Safford Arizona, Michael Guilliams (deceased) of Clinton, Robert (Sharon) Guilliams of San Clemente California, William Guilliams of Tulsa Oklahoma, Margaret Norwalk (deceased) of Hurst, Texas, Anita Blinkinsop (deceased) of Tulsa Oklahoma, and Pamela (Jeffery) Meyers of Fort Worth Texas. Grandchildren include: Vicki (Kevin) Driscoll, Shawn (Rachael) Boden, Stacey Boden, Sarah Boden, Nicholas Guilliams, Connie Guilliams (deceased), Randy Guilliams (deceased), Missy Guilliams, Jessica (Jake) Wert, Addi (Richard) Thomas, Cody (Craig) Guilliams Day, Dustin Guilliams, Jason (Jean) Collins, Amanda (Jose) Chavez, Trent Blinkinsop, Lindsey (Taylor) Autrey, Megan (Neulan) Powers, Brianna Meyers, and Bryson Meyers. Marjorie had numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Marjorie was educated in Leon, Iowa. While raising her children, Marjorie worked nights at A.C. Nielsen Coupon Clearing House and worked as a parts assembler at General Electric in Clinton. She loved to be around the grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a significant influence in their lives. Her smile and laugh were the biggest when she was with her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, husband, two daughters, and one son.
A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive - just west of Clinton Lawn Cemetery). Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery following the service. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family locally with arrangements.
