Obituary for Marion Ethel Gordon (Merrill)
Marion Ethel Gordon, 93, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at home on August 3, 2020. Following her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with burial taking place in Goffstown, New Hampshire. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Marion was born on September 4th, 1926 in Goffstown, New Hampshire, the daughter of Percy and Addie (Wyman) Merrill. She was united in marriage to Amos Gordon on September 9, 1945 in Goffstown N.H. Amos passed away in 2010.
Marion worked at Foster Grant Company in the Clerical department.
She enjoyed bowling, reading and spending time knitting. Above all, she loved her family very much and will be sadly missed.
Marion is survived by one son, Donald (Linda) Gordon of Eloy, AZ; one sister, Carol St. George of Tilton, NH, four grandchildren, Donald (Jane) Gordon, Mathew Gordon, Renee McClain, and Sean (Jennifer) Tremlett, four great-grandchildren, Steve (Jim) Sutton Gordon, Darien Gordon, Aislyn Tremlett and Emery Tremlett as well as several nieces, nephews and her special friends Cherri & Lee Guy and Robert White.
She is preceded in death by her husband, several brothers and sisters and two sons – James and William.
