Marion Lou Konobeck, 89, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at the Alverno on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Honoring her wishes, cremations rites have been accorded with services and burial taking place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arraignments.
Marion was born July 22, 1931 in Independence, Iowa the daughter of Roy and Martha (Newton) Rose.
Marion was united in marriage to LaVerne Miche on May 5, 1953 – they would later divorce. She later married Robert Konobeck.
Marion was a devout Christian who loved going to Bible studies. She was a homemaker and worked for several years at National Locks in Savanna, Illinois.
Marion loved putting together scrap books. She also loved being outdoors, especially tending to her flower garden and walking – she just loved being outside. She loved socializing with family and friends and would "light up a room" as soon as she entered. She was described by many as being perpetually happy and just loving life. Above all, she loved her family very much and will be sadly missed.
Marion is survived by her two daughters- Shirley (Paul) Varner of Camanche and Janice (Phillip) Johnston of Coal Valley, IL; one son – Daniel (Jeralynne) Miche of Eldorado, OK; with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one son in-law David Livermore of Palm Coast, Fl; with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband LaVerne Miche, one daughter - April Livermore and four siblings.
