Obituary for Marilyn Lee McCluskey (Heath)
Marilyn Lee McCluskey, 79, of Morrison, Illinois, passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, Iowa surrounded by family on Friday, September 9, 2022. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with a Memorial Service taking place at 1pm on Monday, September 12, at Lemke Funeral Homes — South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). A visitation occurs 2 hours prior from 11am until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial takes place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Marilyn was born September 21, 1942, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Milo and Valeria (Smith) Heath. She was united in marriage to George McCluskey on October 17, 1969.
Marilyn knew the value of hard work and was an assembly line operator at GE in Morrison for 25 years.
Marilyn enjoyed dancing and loved socializing with her family and friends. She also enjoyed fishing and loved to play bingo. Above all she loved her family very much and will be incredibly missed.
Marilyn is survived by her children —Lois Feddersen of Low Moor, IA, George McCluskey of Clinton, IA, Teresa Smith of Hampstead, MD, Tony Smith of Clinton, IA, Joe (Donna) Schipper of Mesa, AZ, Tammy Schipper of Ohio, Sheila (Marc) Salzman of Northridge, CA, Ben McCluskey of Florida, Michael Schipper of Maquoketa, IA, Dawn (Terry) Vogel of Morrison, IL; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a great grandchild; brother — Gerald Heath; other extended family members; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband — George; three daughters — Anna, Pamela and Ruby Ann; four sons — Alan, Edward, Jim and Mark; and one grandson —David.
