Margaret “Maggie” Ruth Fink, 51, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa (formerly of Clinton) passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Honoring the her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service to take place at 1pm on Saturday, April 24, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Dr.). A visitation occurs two hours prior from 11 am until the service hour at the Funeral Home. Maggie and her son, Benjamin Soibel will be laid to rest at Clinton Lawn Cemetery following the memorial service. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Maggie was born on April 24, 1969 in Dixon, Illinois the daughter of Lester and Mary (Finnigan) Risley. She was a 1987 graduate of Clinton High School. Following high school, she graduated with a degree in Cosmetology at the La’ James International College of Cosmetology. Maggie was a hairdresser for 26 years for various hair salons in the area.

Maggie united in marriage to Ray Fink - they would later divorce but stayed friends.

Maggie liked being outdoors, especially tending to her garden and going for walks. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandson Steven – who was the “the light of her day”.

Maggie is survived by two daughters – Katelyn Finnigan of Cedar Rapids and Heidi Martin of Cedar Rapids, IA; grandson – Steven Bailey; her friend and ex-husband Ray Fink of Clinton and 8 siblings.

Preceding Maggie in death was her father and son - Benjamin Soibel.
