Margaret "Margie" Culberson, 51, of Clinton, passed away suddenly at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics on Thursday, May 30th, 2012. Cremation rights have been accorded with a Memorial service to take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday June 2nd at the Bethel AME Church Clinton, Iowa. A Visitation will occur at the Bethel AME Church two hours before the 1:00 p.m. Memorial service. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Margie was born on February 26th, 1961 in Clinton, IA., the daughter of Vinson and G. Ruth (Johnson)
Culberson. She was a 1979 graduate of Clinton High School.
She was a member of the Bethel AME Church.
Margie was a counter clerk for McDonalds Restaurant for four years, receiving the Clapper Award in 2011.
Margie enjoyed attending to her plants and flowers, going to garage sales and above all loved her daughter Kianna.
Margie is survived by her daughter Kianna of Clinton, her life partner Brad Utroska of Clinton, 3 sisters - Karen Shaw of Clinton, Stephanie Robinson of Palm Coast FLA., Marsha Rode of Palm Coast FLA.; one brother - Vinson "Skipper" Culberson of DeWitt IA.; two aunts, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
