Obituary for Madonna Turner

Madonna Maxine Turner, 88, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at Mercy Living Center - North on September 15, 2014. Honoring Madonna's final instructions, cremation rites were accorded. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton. A private family visitation occurred on September 15, 2014 at Lemke Funeral Homes - North Chapel. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Madonna was born April 26, 1926 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Frank and Sarah (Stuer) Winoski. She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Clinton. She married Harvey Hugunin on June 7, 1952 - they later divorced. She married Robert Turner in 1975 - he passed away in 1991.
Madonna worked at both the Clinton Garment Factory and Nielson's in Clinton for nearly 20 years.
Madonna enjoyed bingo, playing cards and loved her grandchildren very much.
Madonna is survived by her children David (Linda) Hugunin of Clinton, IA., James (Teresa) Hugunin of Camanche, Iowa; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one brother - Tony Winoski of Clinton, IA.
Preceding Madonna in death were her parents, her husband, her daughter Patricia, three brothers and two sisters.
Memorials made will be directed to the wishes of the family.
